Smiles and Sweetness

Genevieve had a wonderful summer. She is growing and learning at an amazing rate and we can't believe how big, strong and clever she is already! Here are the highlights of her smiles and sweetness.

Genevieve's first smiles caught on camera on July 28th:

When you smile...

... you knock me out...

... I fall apart. 💓

More from July:

Her eyes are so sweet.

Thinking about life, the universe and everything. Or milk. Probably milk.

Bed hog.
Very cute bed hog.

All dressed up in her dino jumper. 🎀

My favourite picture. Taken on July 27.

Sitting on Mommy and looking out the window.

From August:

More smiles from our happy girl!

Chillin' with Daddy and checking out Callie. She doesn't seem to have much interest in the cats yet. Lucky cats!

... and it's fun to be with her!

She LOVES to watch Alanna.

She also loves to nap and play in her swing.

Her first night in her crib was July 31st. She doesn't spend too many nights in there yet. She likes to be swaddled, but she can also roll over, so until she sorts that out she sleeps in the bassinet in our room!

Or she sleeps on us. More than anything, she loves that!

In August she also started being able to hold her head up without help:

From September:

BABY FEET! 💖

Sister cuddles after school.

She started putting everything in her mouth!

Out for breakfast one chilly morning with Mommy and Daddy after Alanna was off to school.

😉

... aaaannnd she fell asleep.

She's also started taking an interest in toys! Here she is with the famous "Elephant Bear"!

<cackling intensifies>
Still a bed hog. She started rolling over on September 8th (at Gran and Grandmummy's house), so we have to put up protective pillow barriers now.

Post-bottle nap.

She "discovered" her feet on September 14th!

Baby's first selfie! UNIMPRESSED!
Taken on September 15th.

She can hold her head up while sitting up now. Here she is posing with Elephant Bear!

A video of Genevieve waking up from a nap:

That was the summer with our sweet Genevieve! Can't wait to see what's next!
